Letter From A Grateful Student
Dear Dr. Pesta -
Thank you so much. You have no idea how much this class has meant to me. For the first time, I really analyzed the Bible and took a look at my life and how they were like. It really made me look at the stories I have grown up with but never really gave any real thought about. I, for the first time, truly saw who this God that I follow is.
He is a loving and just God who does everything for a reason. It is because of this class that I for the first time truly began to follow God and Jesus. I started a prayer group at my school because I also saw the raw and true power of prayer and felt like everyone needed to know about this. I would not have done that without this class and doing the readings and really looking at what the people in the stories went through and saw that God had protected them the entire time. He gave them all they needed and rewarded them for following his commands. I thank you so much for the insight into things that I would not have normally thought of and would never have through your lectures. I thank you so much.
