The Founders of this nation made clear their belief that our constitutional republic could not survive unless we remain a moral populace, strong in our belief that a sovereign creator provides our rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Life is considered sacred from conception to the grave. Liberty is the concept that permits every individual to pursue his or her dream or ambition freely and without constraint so long as others are not deprived of their similar rights. It was understood that ownership of private property was essential in the pursuit of happiness.
