Are we going to let the mob win? The Democrat media conglomerate is misusing what happened on Capitol Hill last week to punish those who disagree with them, and they’re even controlling free speech. But it’s not just Donald Trump that they’re after; It’s us.
Nearly a million people attended the rally In D.C. last week. Antifa was represented, Black Lives Matter was there, and some right wing idiots as well. But the chaos and violence that took place was all blamed on the entire conservative movement as well as the president for allegedly instigating those who stormed the Capitol.
I’m sure you’ve heard by now censorship is the next tactic in the Democrat Party arsenal being implemented by leftist, big tech giants and Democrat corporations. Just a few of the actions taken against President Trump include:
- Twitter locked President Trump out of his account and deleted his Tweet history
- Facebook locked Trump’s page and Instagram account
- YouTube suspended Trump’s channel
- Shopify took down the Trump campaign merch store; Snapchat silenced Trump
- Paypal and GoFundMe deactivated accounts that raised money for the president
- Payment processing service Stripe will no longer handle transactions made on the president’s campaign website
- Others that have denounced President Trump or stopped payments include American Express, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Visa, and the list is growing.
But what does this have to do with us?
The left has demanded the President’s removal from office and contested the 2016 election for four years now. They apparently want to punish anyone affiliated with Trump or who have supported him. People have been fired from jobs, censorship is ramping up as well as economic warfare against conservative, patriotic, or Republican-owned businesses.
Pelosi, Biden, Harris, Schumer, AOC, and the Obamas along with the major networks and the usual activists on CNN and MSNBC keep adding fuel to the fire of division and hatred of the president. And if you missed this from last week, ABC News political director Rick Klein Tweeted this:
“…Trump will be an ex-president… The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part. Cleaning up the movement he commands, or getting rid of what he represents to so many Americans, is going to be something else.”
Cleansing the movement? Getting rid of what? Patriotism, nationalism, Republicans, America first, flyover country. Who is he talking about cleansing?
St. Louis Democrat Rep. Cori Bush introduced a resolution to expel those who backed Trump and who opposed the controversial election results. Last week, she tweeted:
“I believe the Republican members of Congress who have incited this domestic terror attack through their attempts to overturn the election must face consequences. They have broken their sacred Oath of Office.”
But one of the most disturbing stories is what big tech Democrats did to Parler, a conservative free speech platform that hosted millions of people. Amazon cloud suspended the account late Sunday night and what followed was a coordinated attack by tech giants. Before this, Parler was the most downloaded app through Apple.
The reason they gave was supposedly, Parler did not keep up with censoring violent content. (show Kathy Griffin, severed Trump head? Other violence against Trump images?) Many on the left including Colin Kaepernick and Kamala Harris urged the rioting to continue. The media hypocrisy and double standards are glaring as usual.
The censorship came after a group called, “Amazon Employees For Climate Justice” demanded Amazon do whatever it can to get Parler off the internet. As you know, Amazon is owned by the world’s second richest man, Jeff Bezos, owner of the leftist rag, The Washington Post.
Late Sunday night, John Matze, CEO of Parler said:
“What they are doing is unprecedented, unfounded and absolutely disgusting…“This is a battle against all of us. Liberals, conservatives, atheists, Christians, black, white, etc. They want to keep their monopoly over speech. They want us fighting. They don’t want us working together. They don’t want us working with each other, they want us hating one another.”
Mark Zuckerberg, by the way, gave hundreds of millions of dollars to left-wing groups to prevent Trump from being reelected. So Monday, his social media giant said it is removing “Stop the Steal” content from Facebook and Instagram, claiming that such language might incite violence.
A citizen journalist I follow was at the capital and said the overwhelming majority of people were peaceful and the media is using the worst video clips and lack of context to exploit the situation and label all Trump supports as right wing extremists.
The Atlantic described “a Christian insurrection” while the liberal Religion News Service blamed “Christian nationalists,” for the violence. Patheos and Americans United for Separation of Church and State blamed “White Christian Nationalists.” Democrats at the National Catholic Reporter said that Catholics who ever supported Trump’s policies have “blood on their hands.”
This divisive, inflammatory rhetoric cannot be backed up with facts. It’s all emotion-driven propaganda. Author, filmmaker, and commentator, Dinesh D’Souza weighed in on the free speech crisis:
“We are facing a coordinated attack that combines the Left’s new hold on the state with its virtual monopoly on the institutions of technology and culture.”
We better wake up to the fact Democrats control U.S. communication and business; the entire education establishment, Hollywood, government, the activist media, big tech, corporations, and Wall Street.
Do we still have a First Amendment in this country or don’t we? Do we have the will to fight? Is the U.S. Constitution still the law of the land? This intrusion by the left shutting down the speech of citizens has no precedent in America. For those who know history, it reminds us of Nazi Germany, China, or Russia to name a few.
What is surprising is they are no longer hiding their agenda or how they feel about us. They announced their intentions and have already declared war on Christians, the traditional family, biblical morality, conservatives, and churches.
What more is it going to take to wake us up? Gather contact info form likeminded people and let’s find other sources for news and ways to communicate with each other.
God help us as we work to raise awareness, pray, and prepare – always remembering our hope is in Christ alone.
