An Ohio mayor urged local “education” officials to either resign or face criminal charges after they were exposed peddling what he said amounts to “child pornography” to victims of government schools. The material also asked children to fantasize about murdering people, suicide, and more. And it encouraged them to illegally drink.
The scandal, which is still brewing in the city of Hudson, Ohio, began when local parents and elected officials found out government schools had given children a paperback journal called “642 Things to Write About.” It has been used for at least 5 years in the school, according to reports. But the “things to write about” included in the resource shocked the community to its core.
Topics included: “A roomful of people who want to sleep together”; “Write a sex scene you wouldn’t show your mom”; “Rewrite the sex scene from above into one that you’d let your mom read”; “Describe your favorite part of a man’s body using only verbs”; “Describe a time when you wanted to orgasm but couldn’t”; “Ten euphemisms for sex”; “You have just been caught in bed by a jealous spouse. How will you talk your way out of this?”; “Write an X-rated Disney scenario”; “The first time you had sex”; and many more.
Numerous topics also included murder, death, and suicide. For example: “Write a scene that begins: ‘It was the first time I killed a man.’”; “You have a dream that you’ve murdered someone. Who is it, how and why did the murder happen, and what happens afterward?”; “You are a serial killer. What TV shows are on your DVR list? Why?”; “The kill fee”; “You are a brand-new suicide-hotline counselor. Describe how you feel during the course of your first call”; “Choose how you will die”; and many more. One also encouraged the underage children to “drink a beer” and “write about the taste.”
Obviously, local parents and community leaders were nauseated by the perversion and filth being forced on their children. Even students testified about the horror at a school-board meeting. The local mayor, Craig Shubert, could barely contain his disgust, and called on everybody involved to step down or be criminally prosecuted.
“It has come to my attention that your educators are distributing essentially what is child pornography in the classroom,” Mayor Shubert declared. “I’ve spoken to a judge this evening; she’s already confirmed that. So I’m going to give you a simple choice: Either choose to resign from this Board of Education, or you will be charged.” Parents erupted into loud applause.
A local prosecutor said a determination had not been made yet about whether the material was criminal. “Under Ohio law, a prompt about a fictional writing is not child pornography,” the prosecutor claimed without citing a statute or case law. “We will review this matter and determine if there is a factual basis that any laws were broken either by the writing prompts.”
As The Newman Report has documented extensively, many states actually have exemptions from obscenity laws protecting government schools and teachers from criminal charges. Anyone other than a government-school “educator,” however, could be charged with a felony in numerous states for exposing children to such filth or encouraging them to commit crimes.
But instead of going after the perverts behind this sexualization and abuse of children, the prosecutor appeared more interested in persecuting parents who may have gone a bit overboard in responding to the outrage perpetrated against their precious children. In a statement, prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh vowed to prove the alleged “threats” made against the school board by parents and taxpayers in the community.
Meanwhile, after being caught red-handed, the government school promised to pull the book. “Given recent concerns presented by parents of students in this course, the District collected the books and discontinued their use,” said Hudson City School District Board of Education President David Zuro, claiming that the course included a “college environment” and that parents should have known. As usual: Blame the victims.
How American parents could have continued subjecting their precious children to this evil system will baffle historians of the future — assuming there is a future. Asking minor children to fantasize about murdering people or having sex with a room full of other perverts is so far beyond the pale that everyone involved should absolutely be prosecuted. But nobody will be. This is now the norm. Parents, don’t say you were not warned.
