Your pocketbook is a little lighter this week if any time was spent filling up the ol’ gas tank. Across the nation, gas prices spiked to new highs, and then continued to rise as the week went on, easily surpassing the 2008 record cost of $4.11 per gallon. Meanwhile the elites in Washington, D.C. not only supported and defended the increase in prices, but they also encouraged spending even more money on electric vehicles. And to top it off, the White House tooted his own car horn, encouraging Americans to be “grateful” that Joe Biden is president instead of Donald Trump.
