Biden made a declaration about the pandemic, but remained mum on what his future holds come 2024. Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been deemed the “border czar,” remains unseen at the border. The inaction by the federal government has inspired state leaders, particularly Governors Ron DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas, to take action into their own hands.
